Who says Halloween is just for the youth? It’s more fun for adults, to tell you the truth. Mixes and potions, poison and brews. We have three deadly cocktails for you to choose. If you’re planning a party, they’re sure to impress. And maybe even scare your guests. Our vodka cocktail is full of blood and gore. Scared of the needle? Don’t fear, there’s more! We’ve got a rosemary daquiri that’s sure to delight. Light it on fire for a little extra fright. Love the heat but don’t want the flame? Our spicy margarita is screaming your name! But don’t try all of them at the same time. Leaving the party early is the worst type of crime.
For these cocktail recipes we used our high-performance blender for the raspberry puree. The convenience of the heated blender allows us to blend and boil in just one appliance. The raspberries do a great job of adding the oozy red color and it also gives the drinks a refreshing twist, so you have a fun and tasty drink. We also added two flavors of simple syrups to give an extra zing to the cocktails… Just don’t try them all in one night, that could be too scary!
Thank you to the Self Proclaimed Foodie , The Flavor Bender, and Thrillist for these inspiring potions.

Dracula has nothin’ on this scary, but fun and interactive drink! The base of the cocktail is a super easy combination of vodka and amaretto, shaken with orange juice and topped with club soda. That alone is delicious, but with the added blood injection it makes the cocktail so dynamic! We found our syringes in the children’s medicine section at our local grocery store, but they can also be purchased in bulk from Amazon.com or be found at a Halloween store.
Ingredients:
2 oz vodka
1 oz amaretto
1 oz orange juice
Top-off with club soda
Raspberry puree
plastic syringes
Directions:
Add vodka, amaretto, and orange juice to a shaker glass with ice and shake until very cold, about 20 seconds.
Fill your serving glass halfway with ice. Pour the chilled vodka/amaretto over the ice.
Top with club soda.
Fill syringes with equal parts of the raspberry syrup and place in glasses before serving.
Squeeze the puree into the beverage, stir and enjoy!
Hot Blooded Margarita
One tequila, two tequila, three tequila… and you won’t be able to fly your broomstick home! Let us help you pace yourself with these deliciously spicy margaritas! Not only is this margarita tasty, but its ingredients showcase the delicious, fresh flavors of jalapeño and raspberry. These subtle spiciness enhances the flavor of the tequila without making the drink super sweet or painful to drink. Not a fan of spicy? Just create the cocktail without the spicy syrup. It still makes for a great cocktail on its own.
Ingredients:
2 oz tequila
2 oz peach juice
1 oz Raspberry puree
½ oz lime juice
½ oz jalapeño simple syrup (or more if you like spicier drinks)
Lime wedge, to garnish
Coarse salt, to rim
Directions:
Run a lime wedge around the rim of the cocktail glass and dip the rim in the salt. Fill with ice.
In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine the raspberry puree, tequila, peach juice, and lime juice. Cover and shake vigorously.
Strain the mixture into the salt rimmed cocktail glass over ice. Garnish with a lime wedge and serve.
Rosemary's Baby
Don’t let the name fool you, this beverage is not for children! A combination of sweet and savory, this cocktail will have you possessed! Of the three recipes, this one is by far the most extravagant and theatrical. It’s elegant, but dangerous. It’s beautiful, but could set your house on fire… so please be careful! The base of this cocktail is a variation of a daiquiri using Bacardi white rum, but gold rum could also be used. There are 2 ways to serve this diabolical drink.
- A flaming cocktail with a thin layer of Bacardi 151 on top.
- A smoked sprig of rosemary.
For an added magical touch, sprinkle a little cinnamon on top of the flames (from a safe distance of course), and watch the magical sparks! BUT, please do remember to blow out the flame before consuming. The flame is purely for theatrics and it goes without saying that the drink should not be drank or carried around while on fire. If you’re unsure or nervous about setting your cocktail on fire, you can simply serve it with a smoking sprig of rosemary instead. The smoky rosemary aroma really adds to the experience without the crazy pyrotechnics!
Ingredients:
2 oz Bacardi white rum
5 oz raspberry puree
½ oz lemon juice
¾ oz rosemary simple syrup
2 tsp Bacardi 151 (optional)
Dash of cinnamon (optional)
Directions:
Place all the ingredients in a cocktail mixer.
Shake for 20 seconds to chill.
Strain the cocktail into a stemmed glass with a wide mouth.
Place a cocktail spoon over the surface of the cocktail and carefully layer the 151 over the cocktail.
VERY CAREFULLY, with a lighter, light the top layer of the cocktail. For a dramatic effect, sprinkle cinnamon over the top of the cocktail for a spark. OR If you prefer a safer option, just light a sprig of rosemary on fire for a smoky effect.
No mater what drink you decide to indulge in this Halloween, please remember to drink responsibly. We hope that you enjoy this spooky boo-ze!
